📖 Day 1: The Promise Still Stands

Scripture:“The people walking in darkness have seen a great light…” – Isaiah 9:2 (NIV)

Devotional:Before the manger, there was a promise. Long before Jesus cried in Bethlehem, God whispered hope through the prophets. They spoke of a Savior, a Deliverer, a King who would shine in the darkness.

That promise didn’t arrive instantly. It was hundreds of years in the making. But it still came—right on time.

If you're holding onto a promise today, take heart: He keeps His word. Christmas reminds us that even when heaven feels silent, God is still moving.

Prayer:Lord, thank You for being faithful. As I reflect on the birth of Jesus, help me believe again in every promise You’ve spoken. I will wait in hope. Amen.

Call to Action:Write down one promise from God you’re still holding onto. Declare: “It’s still coming.”
