📖 Day 4: What Are You Holding Onto?

Scripture:“Let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles.” – Hebrews 12:1 (NIV)

Devotional:Fasting is not just subtraction—it’s replacement. You’re not just letting go of food or entertainment—you’re letting go of control, fear, pride, or emotional crutches.

What are you holding onto that’s keeping you from fully running the race?

This is a season to drop the weights. To give God full access to the areas you’ve been shielding. Let Him show you what needs to go—not just for now, but for good.

Prayer:Lord, reveal what I’m still holding onto. I don’t want to carry anything that weighs down my walk with You. Give me strength to release it. Amen.

Fasting Focus:Take note of what surfaces when you’re uncomfortable. Don’t dismiss it—bring it to God.

Call to Action:Write down one emotional, relational, or spiritual burden God is asking you to surrender—and physically tear up the paper as a prophetic act.
