📖 Day 10: Dullness vs. Discernment
Scripture:“The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God… but the person with the Spirit makes judgments about all things.” – 1 Corinthians 2:14–15 (NIV)
Devotional:Spiritual dullness happens when our lives are filled with distractions, sin, or apathy. Discernment sharpens when we choose consecration, fasting, and prayer.
Fasting is a way of sharpening your spirit—like a blade being refined. You begin to notice spiritual patterns, atmospheres, and motivations more clearly.
The more you fast, the more you’ll find your mind cleansed, your reactions tempered, and your awareness heightened.
Prayer:God, remove anything dulling my spiritual senses. I want to discern rightly and walk wisely. Sharpen me for Your glory. Amen.
Fasting Focus:Reflect on what has clouded your discernment in the past. Let God reset your lens.
Call to Action:Spend time in Proverbs today and ask the Lord to give you wisdom and discernment in one specific area.
